I have two boards each with a new CM4 Rpi with OMV6 and 2 WD Red 10TB hard drives. Trying to use it as a secondary backup for my small NAS. The data set I need to put on it is less than 4TB.
I am running wired ethernet. OMV says the drives are in good order. I am mapping the drive onto a Windows machine logging in as an OMV user that has rights to the share.
When it works copy speeds vary wildly from 2-3K per second to 100MB per second. The main problem is it copies for anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes and then throws an error that it has some issue copying a file and then stops. You can't disconnect from the drive, can't get it going again short of rebooting the Axzez and remapping the drive which is sometimes an adventure also.
Yes OMV6 installed on your OS. I am not wed to OMV just looked like that seemed to be what quite a few Axzez users settled on.
Looks like the main problem is the ethernet port keeps dropping randomly on the Interceptor board necessitating a reboot of the system to get connectivity back. Since it does this on both Interceptor boards that I have and I am using Axzez's image and nothing else on my network exhibits this issue I am not sure how to proceed to fix it or whether it can be fixed.
