No problems or complaints, I just wanted to post my success story. I was initially unable to use the Interceptor board last year when I received it because my Raspberry Pi CM4 board died, and being hard to get I had to shelve the Interceptor. When the new Banana Pi image was released, I ordered one. Got it up and running in a day. Have been testing with five older HDDs, snapraid, mergerfs, and borgbackup, and so far so good. I'm not seeing anything in the logs that would indicate SATA or Ethernet problems. So far, I'm only using the WAN port. The HDMI is connected to a PiKVM, and that also works for remote console access. My only problem is that I couldn't get it working as an NFSv4 server, but that's OK, borgbackup can use ssh instead.
So, thanks for the new Banana Pi image!
Rob
Thank you for the feedback. We are hoping to add support for some Rockchip modules soon.
I'm in a similar boat. Managed to obtain 1 single CM4 a while ago and it ended up needing to be used for something else so I had to shelve the interceptor. I've had an open order for another CM4 with Element14 for over a year now. As soon as I saw this news of supporting Banana PI I ordered one immediately and today I'm able to finally start using the interceptor board
