I've had my Interceptor board for a while, but failed to realize that dire state of CM4 availability when I ordered it - I'm just a dork who likes to fiddle...
While trying to get things up and running, I"m running into issues I see various threads describing getting the Interceptor board to boot from USB. I am on Windows, but unfortunately don't have easy access to a Mac or Linux machine right now to test image writing.
That said, trying to boot using any of the Axzez images fails using the Raspberry Pi Imager (tested versions 1.9, 1.85 and even an earlier 1.7) and Balena Etcher. Using the same setup, same PC, and the default Raspbian image successfully mounts the USB image and moves onto install phases.
What might I be doing wrong with the Axzez images, or what else could I try to get them to succeed via USB boot?
I am currently running Interceptor Carrier Board 2 with Raspberry Pi OS Lite (Bookworm) 64 bit, and want to know if I can increase the PCIe speed by adding the following code to the config.txt file "dtparam=pciex1_gen=3".
