Are there any setup or special requirements for getting the power button and power LED to work? I connected up the front panel of my case, and the power LED simply stays on, and the power button won't power the system up after shut down. In order to power it back up, I have to use the power switch on the PSU. In case it matters, I'm running Raspbian 64bit, and using a CoolerMaster MasterWatt 550 power supply. I did check the 3.3V rail, and it stays between 3.39 and 3.41.

I found the problem. It was the EEPROM settings. After updating the EEPROM to match the settings in your FAQ, the power button and LED are working properly.
Hello @jtyocum. The layout is documented in the product insert (electronic copy). I assume you are following this. Once the system is on (PSU is on), you can manage power two ways: 1. Only use the PSU on and off switch 2. Power off via the "Shutdown" menu item or command line. Power on via the power button on your case connected to the pin header. Note that pins 3 and 4 on the header are for power on only. Due to limitations of the CM4, we can only provide power off via software and can provide power on via creating a connection between those two pins.
For the power LED, are you saying that the LED is on even if you clicked on "Shutdown" in the menu?
If you can snap a picture of the header with wires connected, we'd appreciate that.
Thank you!
