After installing the current axzez interceptor image on the CM4 mmc, it boots up, but the last thing I see is "starting wayfire" after that, blank screen.
And the PSU is still running and lights on the board are lit up? If you have ethernet connected, do you see the lights flashing? Did the monitor go into sleep mode or is it still on and just blank? Have you tried rebooting? I want to say that I saw this before, but I'm not sure. Finally, did you try reinstalling using our OS installer? We'll get this figured out!
Do you happen to have a different CM4 module to test with? I suspect an OS issue, but you'd be the first to report it and we haven't updated it in a while now. Other times I have seen this behavior have been with a bad CM4 module (connectors wear out). I suspect you've tried both HDMI0 and HDMI1 connectors on the board and experienced the same behavior? If you are so inclined, you might try an older version of our desktop OS from our Legacy Downloads page: https://www.axzez.com/legacy-downloads
I don't have another CM4.A curious thing is when I rebooted the server from a remote ssh session, the display came back, showing all of the shutdown messages.I suspect this may be an issue with the 4K monitor is was hooked to? Regular Pi computers don't seem to have an issue with it, but I don't think any of those are using wayfire.
Interesting data point, @Michael Sheldon. Will you try another monitor? I've not heard of this happening, but I'm very curious about it. Your hypothesis sounds feasible. What make/model is that potentially problematic monitor? I'll speak with the other co-founders and get back with you with more thoughts.
Hello @Michael Sheldon,
